Making melody in my heart unto the King of Kings

Psalm 104:24 O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.

My Pastor has been teaching right now about our value in God's eyes. Jesus said, Look at the flowers.... and how much more will our Father care for us. That's the kind of Father He is.

I realized the other day little Bella Pearl declares that every day is her birthday. In her innocence, tears, hugging, laughter, discoveries, carefree- "living large" and even discipline she is loved and knows she is loved. Her name means "beautiful pearl."

Psalm 107:8 Let them give thanks to the LORD for His lovingkindness,
And for His wonders to the sons of men!
9 For He has satisfied the thirsty soul,
And the hungry soul He has filled with what is good.

So today I say "thank you Father," for:

~ Your mercy
~ My community. That you use everything to change us.
~ Specific answers to prayer, because You know us, and Your love is extravagant.
~ A gentleman that serves his family sacrificially. Thank you Lord for his heart. How I am challenged by his generosity.
~ My children. In both the trials and the blessings. I am thankful.
~ too many great books all at one time in my pile.
~the sight of robins!
~ for my Mom, who is going to help me finish my crocheted socks, who is always concerned about her loved ones well being
~ Hannah Banana. 17. How she suffered through our growing parenting and still growing parenting years. Oh Lord, thank you for Hannah. What a gift she is to us.
~ fresh stirring of vision.

Psalm 34:8 Taste and see that the LORD is good;
blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.
